Anna Kathryn Gray Nolen, 29, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Jackson Regional.
She was born on December 18, 1987 in Union City, TN, to David and Tammy Chessor Gray. Anna was in the graduating class of 2006 from Lake County High School, where she played softball and basketball. After graduation, she attended Dyersburg State Community College, where she continued playing softball for The Lady Eagles. Anna received her B.S. degree in education from the University of Memphis. She was a school teacher. Anna was a member of Abundant Life Church, where she and husband Josh led the END ZONE J.V. Youth, she was one of the media techs and she also taught music for the K-5 grades.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Abundant Life Church with the Rev. Tony McKinnon and the Rev. Don Adkins officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Abundant Life Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joshua Wayne Nolen of Ridgely; her parents, David and Tammy Gray of Ridgely; her grandparents, Alice Ann Gray of Ridgely and Rev. Johnny Chessor of Union City; and her in-laws, Barry and Alice Nolen of Halls and Teresa and Jeff Higdon of Brighton.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy Earl Gray and Catherine Chessor.
Pallbearers will be Zach Heator, Seth Turnbo, Caleb Bledsoe, Josh Bledsoe, James "Bubba" Mooring and Kyle Chessor. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Goodgine and Rob Bledsoe.
