Harold Joy Sartin, 87, of Lenox, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at his residence.
He was a retired salesman for Edenton-Lamb Wholesale Grocer and also served as County Commissioner for 22 years. Mr. Sartin was a member of Finley United Methodist Church, was a charter member of the McDonald's Coffee Club, and was also a member of the Dyersburg Car Club.
Funeral services for Mr. Harold Sartin will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Phipps and the Rev. Ralph Gunter officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
The Sartin Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his two sons, Jeff Sartin and wife, Judy, and Steve Sartin and wife, Sabrina, all of Lenox; his daughter-in-law, Phyllis Anderson Sartin of Darien, GA; a brother, David Ray Sartin of Chattanooga; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Criswell and husband, Gary, Brian Sartin and wife, Kasey, John Scott Sartin and wife, Julie, Anna Sartin, Autry Sartin, Ally Sartin, Blake Sartin and wife, Tonya, Katie Oliff and husband, Greg, and Patrick Sartin; and ten great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sartin was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Anderson Sartin; a son, Harold A. Sartin; and his parents, Clarence Houston Sartin and Lona Bell Jackson Sartin.
Pallbearers will be Brian Sartin, John Scott Sartin, Autry Sartin, Blake Sartin, Patrick Sartin, and Gary Criswell. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Hill, Dee Hilliard, Charles Anderson, Bob Brock, Jimmy Hester, Larry Joe Maupin, Jeff Jones, and Gary McGill.
