Judy Ann Mullins, age 63, went peacefully, while surrounded by her family, to be with the Lord after her courageous battle with cancer on May 2, 2012.
She was a strong Christian lady who always put her family first. Judy was a dedicated, loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was generous with her life and love for others and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was a retired teller for Dyersburg Credit Union and member of Westside Baptist Church, where she served as the church secretary and treasurer and taught children's church.
A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. James Combs and Bro. Mike Deal officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Mullins; two sons, Thomas Mullins and wife, Kim, and Tim Mullins and wife, Kim,; a daughter, Kelly Goad; three grandchildren, Hailey Mullins, Carleigh Goad and Luke Mullins; a brother, Bill Augdon; and two sisters, Jean Langston and Pat Haley; all of Dyersburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mirtie Augdon; and a sister, Lora Jean Winchester.
Pallbearers will be Vincent Younger, Larry Jones, Jimmy Pugh, Jeremiah Ward, Donnie Crone and William Mathina.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Dyersburg/Dyer County Cancer Fund.
