W.T. "Ed" Patterson, 77, of Hornbeak, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Patterson was a farmer. He also was a Baptist.
Services for Mr. Patterson will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Independent Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Southerland officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The Patterson Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Patterson of Hornbeak; two daughters, Katherine Workman and husband, James R. of Union City and Connie Nugent and husband, Stevie, of Obion; two sons, Ronald Patterson and wife, Linda, of Tiptonville and Roy Patterson and wife, Shelia, of Ridgely; two sisters, Jane Patterson and Wanda Patterson, both of Mountain Home, AR; a brother, Kenneth Patterson of Dyersburg; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Caren Patterson; his parents, Albert and Alice McMary Patterson; and three sisters, Dorothy Fenney, Linda Patterson, and Norma Patterson.
Pallbearers will be Chris Johnson, Eric Johnson, William Jackson, Ricky Patterson, Ed Patterson, Kevin Patterson, and Timothy Jackson.
