Woodrow Francis Cook, 70, of Samburg, died Friday, October 5, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was an employee of Georgia Gulf Corporation, graduate of University of Memphis, avid hunter and outdoorsman, former professional bull rider and worked for Federal Wildlife Resource Agencies from Maryland to California.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Keystone Park with Mr. Carl Mills officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his two daughters, Megan Cook of Rives and Heather Cook of Hendersonville; two sons, Joel Parks Cook of Memphis and Matt Cook of Nashville; his mother, Mary Lou Yates of Tiptonville; a sister, Kathleen Yates of Tiptonville; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Cook.
He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Cook.
