Willow Dean Allen Hodgkiss, age 84, of Jonesboro, AR, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Ms. Dean was born on August 15, 1939, in Big Sandy, TN, to the late, Elmer and Nora "Lavell" Brewer Allen. She was a production worker at Arkansas Glass for 27 years and then became an at home caregiver. She enjoyed taking trips and fishing with her 3 best friends. Dean enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to visit with her 14 siblings and telling jokes.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Jeff Brewer and Mr. Rob Bledsoe officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the funeral home.

Survivors include her son, Tim Hodgkiss; one sister, Barbara Nichols; one brother, Larry Allen; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Dean was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Tom" Hodgkiss; five sisters, Amanda Wells, Christine Reynolds, Mary Ann Brewer, Margie Jones and Cathy Sue Allen; and seven brothers, J.W. Allen, George Allen, Bobby Allen, Tommy Allen, Roger Allen, Jimmy Allen and Ronnie Allen.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Brewer, Bobby Allen, Tommy Allen, Billy Allen, Joseph Allen and John Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Hodgkiss, Kyle Hodgkiss and Daniel Malone.
