Willie Clyde Joyner, Jr., 69, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on January 4, 1948 in Dyersburg to the late Willie Clyde Joyner, Sr. and the late Doris Delores Bolding Joyner. Willie was a retired employee for an Oil Refinery Company. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. His main focus in life was God, his family and his beloved dog, Lucky.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends will meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include the love of his life, Toy Box; and their son, Kevin Box; his three brothers, James Joyner, Glen Joyner and John Joyner; his seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn Box, Ivy Box, Virginia Box, Ethen Box, Tyler Box, Cherish Michelle Joyner and Chloe Skye Holcomd; his aunt, Wanda Butler who cared for him; and his longtime friend, Bobby Powers.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Dianne Joyner; his parents; a sister, Doris Lynn Richards; his maternal grandparents, Harlie and Irma Bolding; and his paternal grandparents.

Pallbearers will be James Joyner, Chad Richards, Joe Jordan, Josh Jordan, Joe Jordan, Jr. and Blake Montgomery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Dyersburg/Dyer County Humane Society, 1120 East Court Street, Dyersburg, TN 38024.
