Willie June Jordan, 83, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016, at Tennova Healthcare Jackson Regional.
Mrs. Jordan was born June 14, 1933 in Dyer County, Tennessee. She was a factory worker. She was an active member of Fowlkes Baptist Church. June sold Avon products where she was a member of the Presiden's Club.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home conducted by Bro. Neal Chatham and Bro. Danny O'Guinn. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her daughter, Chris (Terry) Daniels; two sons, Wayne (Janie) Mansfield and Lynn (Susan) Williams, all of Dyersburg; six grandchildren, Jared Williams, Scotty Bell, Kenny Lee, Danny Mansfield, Lisa Woodrough and David Mansfield; and nine great-grandchildren including, Ethan Mansfield, Anna Mansfield, Zoe Woodrough, Isabella Woodrough, Ava Woodrough, Colton Lee, and Rob Miles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A. W. and Beulah Kolwyck Thurmond; a son, Bobby Gene Williams; a grandchild, Dana Mansfield; a sister, Juanita Brimm; and a brother, Pete Slaughter.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Lee, George Weaver, Danny Wayne Mansfield, Ethan Mansfield, Paul Ames and David Mansfield.
