William Gene Stewart, 57, of Ridgely, died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at his residence.
He was a former blender operator for Georgia Gulf, member of Willingham Memorial Baptist Church and a Ridgely Volunteer Fireman.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Willingham Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Allison and the Rev. Clayton Mahan officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the church.
Survivors include his daughter, Julie Stewart of Hornbeak; two sons, Josh Stewart of Martin and John Stewart and wife, Laura, of Ridgely; a sister, Lisa Reynolds and husband, Bobby, of Henning; a brother, Charles Stewart and wife, Pam, of Ridgely; and three grandchildren, Jordan Stewart, Madison Fulcher and Brody Fulcher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Shirley Warren Stewart; and a brother, Jimmy Harold Stewart.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Markham, Randy Gardner, Cotton Brewer, John Neil, Bobby Reynolds and Bubba Henson.
