William Odell Moody, 91, of Finley, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at NHC Milan.

William was born on May 6, 1932, in Padre Island, TX, to the late Odie and Wanda Hollingsworth Moody. He was a retired self-employed farmer and was a former truck driver for Colonial Rubber in the 1960's. William was a good man who loved his family and was well respected. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and attended Finley Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Halliburton and Bro. Trevor Sewell. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his son, Marty Moody (Ann) of Finley, TN; a daughter, Amy Mauldin (Robert) of Finley, TN; a brother, Harold Moody of Paris, TN; a sister, Peggy Gibson of Dyersburg, TN; six grandchildren, Justin Daniels (Tiffany), Josh Daniels, Todd Mauldin, Amanda Cooper (Chad), Abby Hilliard and Taylor Moody (Brittany); and twelve great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Moody; four sisters; one brother; and a grandson, Robert Mauldin, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Justin Daniels, Josh Daniels, Todd Mauldin, Chad Cooper, Will Hilliard, and Taylor Moody.
