William Eugene Mines Jr., 64 of Dyersburg, TN passed away April 14, 2025 at his residence.

He was born in Effingham, IL on February 20, 1961 to the late William and Virginia Mines. Known to most as Bill or Willie, he was a great man. He was an avid coin and gun collector. Lover of duck hunting, cars, and builder of model airplanes and military tanks. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves a wife of 28 years, Yvonne Mines of Dyersburg, TN; his children, Victoria Prather (Eli) of Brownsville, TN, Erin Heflin (Chip) of Murfreesboro, TN and Percival Reed (Avery) of Portland, OR; three brothers; Mike Mines (Beth) of Effingham, IL, John Mines of Effingham, IL and Brian Mines (Lynnette) of Moorehead, KY; two step brothers; Steve Polk (Billie) and Terry Polk (Dalia) both of Dyersburg, TN; his stepmother, Patricia Mines of Ridgely, TN; and  five grandchildren; Jackson Prather, Eleanor Marshall,  Mason Mines, Knox Mines and Ava Claire Mines.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Mines.

There will be a private memorial service held at a later date as William was cremated.
