William Jerry Mathina, Sr.'s Obituary
William Jerry Mathina, Sr., 65, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was a retired custodian for Dyersburg Regional Medical Center and attended First Baptist Church in Tiptonville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Three Oaks Baptist Church with Bro. William Mathina, Jr. officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 12-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Mathina of Dyersburg; a son, William Mathina, Jr. and wife, Suzi, of Lenox; three sisters, Marie Smothers of Tiptonville, Bonnie Smith of Union City and Margaret Smothers of Wynnburg; a brother, Otis Mathina of Hayti, MO; and four grandchildren, Stephanie Beth Mathina, William Zachary Mathina, Jadan Andrew Mathina and Ben Joseph Mathina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Susie Essary Mathina; and a sister, Brenda Mauldin.
