William Travis Garrett, 64, of Alamo, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the Alamo Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

William was born on January 17, 1958, in Crockett Mills, TN, to the late, Leonard Travis Garrett and the late Mary Frances Hart Garrett. He was retired from Graceland Nursing Home as the Director of Nursing and attended Connor Assembly of God. William loved deer hunting, riding 4 wheelers and deep-sea fishing. He was a Pentecostal by faith.

Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his sister, Ann Biggers of Ripley, TN; a niece, Bethany Blessinger (Louis); a nephew, Jonathan Criswell (Madison); and three great-nieces and nephews, Emily Blessinger, Alex Blessinger and Everett Criswell.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Anne Buchanan Garrett; and a sister, Laura McLaughlin.
