William "Gene" Eugene Campbell, age 77, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Independent Free Holiness Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Campbell of Dyersburg; three daughters, Vicky Campbell of Halls, Amanda Henson of Gates and Sheila Ray and husband, Steven, of Ripley; three sisters, Shirley Paris of Atoka, Dell Ashley of Memphis and Yvonne Garcia of Dyersburg; three brothers, Thomas Campbell of Kentucky, Gerald Campbell of Ripley and Dashial Campbell of Dyersburg; five grandchildren, David Buckner, Shawnta Buckner, Amanda Henson, Kyle Ray and Kevin Ray; eight great-grandchildren; twelve loving step-children; several step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Franklin and Dicie Pearl Williams Campbell; two sisters, Dorothy Broz and Pat Wyatt; and a grandson, T.J. Henson.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Ray, Kevin Ray, Matt Ray, Andy Cardoza, Charlie Baker and Justin Scott.
