William Edward "Sonny" Paschall passed away Friday November 13, 2020.   He was born September 4, 1933, in Mooring, Tn. to Grover and Nettie Mae Stanfill Paschall.  Mr. Paschall lived his entire life in Ridgely where he farmed nearly fifty years as one of the pioneer families of Lake County.

He was a member of Ridgely First Baptist Church, he was a deacon and taught Sunday School for fifty years.  During his life, Mr. Paschall served twenty years as chairman of the Lake County Election Commission as well as Farm Bureau President.

On November 12, 1950, he married Deloris Larry, of Obion County, They were married for seventy years before she preceded him in death by three weeks.  Sonny is survived by three children, Susan Patterson, of Henderson, Tn., Julia Paschall, of Jackson Tn., and Larry Paschall(Susie), of Ridgely, Tn.  Grandchildren are Jonathan Patterson(Alivia), Landon Paschall(Karen), and Lauren Callis(Bradley).  Great grandchildren are Ethan Stewart, Nathan Paschall, Zoe Paschal, Ethan Agnew and Ella Callis.

Mr. Paschall was preceded in death by his brother, James "Tooter" Paschall, a grandson, Matthew Patterson, a son-in-law, Steve Patterson, and his parents Grover and Nettie Mae Paschall.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM Thursday at New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.
