William C. "Dub" Byrd's Obituary
William C. "Dub" Byrd, 89, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
He was a retired bricklayer and a member of East Dyersburg Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Edison with the Rev. John Lowrance officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his brother-in-law, Billy Joe Starnes; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John, Sr. and Ollie Whitehead Byrd; two sisters, Peggy Starnes and Beatrice Anderson; and two brothers, Virgil Byrd and John Taylor Byrd, Jr.
Nephews and great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests that memorials be directed to East Dyersburg Methodist Church.
