William Jerry "Burgie" Permenter's Obituary
William Jerry "Burgie" Permenter, 67, of Dyersburg, died Friday, May 4, 2012 at his residence.
He was a retired truck driver. He was a Baptist.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Childress Family Cemetery in Dyersburg with the Rev. Mac Daniels officiating.
Survivors include his daughter, Stacey Hutcheson of Dyersburg; a son, Ernie Permenter of Little Rock, AR; a sister, Betty Faye Hughen of Ooltewah, TN; five brothers, Ewell "Pete" Permenter of Ridgely, Bobby Permenter of Roellen, Larry Joe Permenter, Terry Permenter and James Permenter, all of Finley; and two grandchildren, Brandon Permenter and Dillon Hutcheson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewell F. "Son" and Lura McBride Permenter.
His brothers served as pallbearers.
