William Gordon Argo, 90, of Magnolia, AR, formerly of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, AR.

William was born on February 12, 1931, in Ridgely, TN, to the late, John Ivy and Elvie Heathcock Argo. He was a farmer, a member of Ridgely Church of Christ and was an avid duck hunter. William proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War Area.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest McKay officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The Argo Family will receive visitors from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the funeral home.

Survivors include his two sons, Mike Argo and wife, Debbie, of Magnolia, AR and Steve Argo and wife, Cindy, of Paris, TN; two sisters, Kathryne Cornell McKay of Midlothian, TX and Penny Gail Howerton of Dyersburg, TN; four grandchildren, Kayla Argo, Elisha Argo, Stephanie McGinnis and Bethany Clark; and five great-grandchildren, Dylan Argo, Myka Sifrit, Ezra Clark, Nora Clark and Lydia Clark.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet Argo; a daughter, Deborrah Argo; two brothers, Wilson Argo and J.C. Argo; and a grandson, Steven Eric Argo.

Pallbearers will be Kevin McKay, Dylan Argo, Reggie Clark, Jacob Howerton, Ed Sumara and Greg Paschall.
