Willa Thompson's Obituary
Willa Thompson, 104, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at her residence.
She was a homemaker, a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ and a member of Dyersburg Womens Club.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Scott Owen officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 1-1:45 p.m. Sunday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Anne Noonan and husband, Dr. Jimmy Noonan, of Dyersburg; a son, Dr. Pete Thompson and wife, Carol, of Dyersburg; six grandchildren, Spike Noonan, Scott Noonan and Eric Thompson, all of Nashville, Sallye O'Rourke and Debbie Henson, both of Knoxville, and Marc Thompson of Dyersburg; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Thompson; her parents, Sidney J. and Queen Etta Eudaley Doyle and a brother, Harold Doyle.
Pallbearers will be Marc Thompson, Eric Thompson, Spike Noonan, Scott Noonan, Lee Moore and Don Henson.
Memorials may be directed to Dyersburg/Dyer County Humane Society or Parr Avenue Church of Christ.
