Willa Dean Maxwell, 81, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker and was a former private sitter. She was a member of Poplar Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin Orr officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Halls.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Penny Davis and husband, Bill, of Halls; a son, Jeffrey Burroughs and wife, Valarie, of Bolingbrook, IL; a sister, Sue Evelyn Stewart of Roanoke, VA; a brother, John Moore of Newbern; three grandchildren, Eric Burroughs, Kyle Burroughs and Russell Burroughs; and four great-grandchildren, Aubrie Burroughs, Macie Burroughs, Maverick Burroughs and Elijah Burroughs.

Pallbearers will be Joyce Rogers, Larry Keen, Jimmy Garrett, Mark Holder, Chris Burrough and David Hamlet.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Claudie Burroughs and Gene Maxwell; and her parents, Eddie and Virgie Hughley Moore.
