Wilda Lynnette Giles, 61, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on September 5, 1956 in Hohenwald, TN, to the late Lonnie Sims, Jr. and the late Alda Mae Roberson Sims. Wilda was retired from Dyersburg Manor as payroll and benefits clerk where she worked for 15 years. She attended First Christian Church and was a two-time cancer survivor. Wilda loved her family and her two dogs, Patches and Chloe very much.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Chamblee officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 3-6 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Scott Giles of Dyersburg; two daughters, Kristie Greer and husband, Scott, of Bonicord and Autumn Giles and companion, Eric Fussell, of Knoxville; two brothers, Chris Strickland of Dyersburg and Billy Bradley of Macon, GA; a sister, Kathy Stewart and husband, Larry, of Hohenwald; three grandchildren, Alison Gray and husband, Cody, Hunter Long and fiancée, Ashton McRae and Caleb Greer; two great-grandchildren, Rylan and Anzlee Gray; one niece, Ashley Strickland; and two nephews, Michael Stewart and Nathan Giles.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Belinda Sims.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Hays, Hunter Long, Caleb Greer, Scott Greer, Cody Gray, Ricky Gray, Marlena Phillips, Rhonda McCuiston, Angela Laws, Lisa Eison, Kathy Giles, Julie Hill, Betty Hays and Carol Woods.
