Wesley "Blue" Nale, 81, of Bogota, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was a retired farmer, member of Springhill Baptist Church and an avid fisherman and hunter.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Oakley officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Lillie Nale of Bogota; a daughter, Alicia Reynolds of Samburg; a son, Wesley Allen Nale of Churchton; a step-son, Mike Gurley of Dyersburg; three step-daughters, Helen Sweat of Dyersburg, Donna Nelson of Union City and Kelly Ratliff of Finley; two sisters, Margaret Farrow of Bogota and Mary Jane Baker of Miston; five brothers, Walter Nale of Bogota, Lesley "Brown" Nale and William Paul Nale, both of Dyersburg, Albert Nale and John R. Nale, both of Miston; eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Alice McClain Nale.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Sikes, Lee Jay Sikes, Lynn Sikes, Billy Ray Farrow, Terry Nale and Jeff Nale.
