Obituary

W.E. "Wink" Hollingsworth, 85, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at his residence.

He was a self employed auto mechanic, member of Spirit and Life Christian Church in Dyersburg and a member of the Woodmen of the World.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward P. Smeton, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Myra Hollingsworth of Dyersburg; a daughter, Tanya Alexander and husband, Jerry, of Dyersburg; three sons, David Hollingsworth and wife, Lorie, Billy Taylor and wife, Janice, all of Dyersburg and James Taylor and wife, Brenda, of Brownsville; two sisters, Rosie Powell of Vicksburg, MS and Jewel Jones of Johnson City, TN; a brother, Allen Hollingsworth of Newbern; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Ivy Mangrum Hollingsworth; and a brother, James Grady Hollingsworth.

Pallbearers will be Clint Alexander, Drew Hollingsworth, Matt Quinn, Jason Bradford, Jimmy Taylor and Billy Taylor.
