Wayne Fair, 65, of Newbern, died Monday, March 18, 2013 at his residence.
He was a retired welder and a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam War.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jessie Cavness officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Jessica Fair of Newbern; a son, Jeff Fair and wife, Lana, of Newbern; seven sisters, Virginia Burger of Newport, WA, Joyce Stockdale, Mary Sue Bradley and Kathryn Walker, all of Dyersburg, Ruby French of Union City, Norma Jean Mooney of Troy and Mary Lou Wright of Roellen; three brothers, Bobby Fair of Dyersburg, Marvin Fair of Elbridge and Denny Shaw of Dickson; and two grandchildren, Jesse Fair and Kodie Amber Fair, both of Newbern.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry and Lota Brown Fair; and four brothers, W.B. "Doodle" Fair, Royce Shaw, L.B. Shaw and Clyde "Junior" Fair.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Fair, Chad Paris, Glenn Parkinson, Jessie Cavness, Michael Taylor and Jesse Fair.
