Wanda Jean Viar Pevahouse, born October 12, 1953, daughter of Walter "Jack" and Mone Edith Viar, passed away at her home on April 4, 2013.
She was a retired LPN and homemaker. She was an avid book reader and loved Paula Deen books, cookbooks and t.v. shows. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Graveside memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery with Mr. Larry Fowlkes officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Brandi Pevahouse; a sister, Linda Baize and husband, Donald; former husband and friend, Scotty Pevahouse; a niece, Darlene Hollis and husband, Sam; a nephew, Jason Clark and wife, Jennifer; a granddaughter, Mariza Townsend; a great-nephew, Cody Hollis; four great-nieces, Kari Beth Hollis, Kayla Clark, Taylor Clark and Suzie Clark; and numerous friends and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Edith Viar; a sister, Shirley Viar; a grandson, Mateo Garcia; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Tilley and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Oscar Viar; and numerous cousins.
