Wanda June Davison, 84, of Finley, TN, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

She was born on June 7, 1935, in Newbern, TN, to the late Lorenzo Dow Johnston and Oda Bell Johnston Lewis. June was a homemaker. She was a member of Finley Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Young at Heart. June was a former member of Second Baptist Church, where she was a G.A. Leader and Sunday School Teacher.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2019 and from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Lance Davison of Finley, TN; two daughters, Teresa Davison Stripling of Humble, TX and Melanie Davison Wilbanks and husband, Eddie, of Finley, TN; two sisters, Joy Walker of Dyersburg, TN and Retha Hodge of Naperville, IL; four grandchildren, Maranda Pleasant of Paris, France, Jane Ann McCullogh of Lewisburg, TN, Brian Davison of Dyer County, TN and Matthew Wilbanks of Finley, TN; and a great-grandchild, Oceana Pleasant of Los Angeles, CA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Davison; a son, Matt Davison; two brothers, Doty Johnston and Hurston Gray; and a sister, Joel Hubbard.

Pallbearers will be Frank Wells, Stephen Stephenson, Mark Enochs, Anthony Evans, Brad Studard and Robert Mauldin.

Memorials may be directed to Finley Baptist Church or to the Dyersburg/Dyer County Community Cancer Fund.
