Wanda Sue Bennett Forrest, 64, of Tiptonville, died Monday, October 3, 2011 at her residence.

She was a retired child caregiver and a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Grimes officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her two daughters, Karen Forrest and Lori Rivers, both of Tiptonville; a son, James Ricky Forrest of Tiptonville; five sisters, Velma Morris, Brenda Grimes, Debby Hancock and Barbara Grimes, all of Troy and Martha Powers of Shawtown; a brother, Ricky Bennett of Hornbeak; five grandchildren, Summer Forrest, Andrea Miller, Autumn Miller, Ricky Forrest, Jr. and Holly Lamb; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Forrest; her parents, Stanley "Boe" and Hester Williams Bennett; and a sister, Alice Ann Bennett.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Bennett, Ralph Decker, Richie Turner, Regie Hancock, Max Grimes and Jason Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Morris and Thomas Grimes.
