Walter Alexander Shumate IV, 55, of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of Tiptonville First United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Marita Burkeen and Rev. Steve Carr. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include his parents, Walter A. and Linda B. Shumate of Tiptonville; and two sisters, Felisha Darden of Jackson and Sunny Gale Berry of Tiptonville.
Pallbearers will be Jackie McKenzie, Jerome Shumate, Robin Shumate, Ben Terrett, Butch Archie and Mark Rhodes.
