Mr. Wallace Matthew Cook, of Hornbeak, TN, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025 at his home.

Matt was born November 11, 1969 to the late Woody Cook and Pamela Parks. He was well known for his work at a self-employed handyman. Matt loved meeting and connecting with people, especially through outdoor activities like hunting or the local gun club. He was a Jack-of-All-Trades and never met a stranger. He was loved as a father, brother, grandfather and friend.

Matt is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Cook, of Troy, TN; a brother, Joel Cook; two sisters, Heather Cook and Megan Cook; his great-aunt, Candace Parks; and was "PaPa" to his grandchildren, Carter Canada and Ariana Matthews.

Visitation will be held at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Tiptonville Chapel on Sunday, September 21, 2025 beginning at 12:00 p.m. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Parks Family Cemetery, North of Tiptonville, conducted by Mr. Carl Mills.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Butch Archie, Dolphus Jordan, Tommy Waldroup, Carter Canada, Reid Yates and Steve Parks.
