Virginia Jarred Williamson, 90, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at Oakwood Community Living Center.
She was retired as a Bookkeeper for Pacific Valve Company in Long Beach, CA., a member of First Christian Church, a former bookkeeper for Western Auto National Office in Los Angeles, CA. and a member of the Eastern Star.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Moser and husband, Ray, of Dyersburg; one sister, Ann Jarred Brown and husband, James, of Dyersburg; a sister-in-law, Jewel Jarred; two grandchildren, Lori Cutler of Dyersburg and Dee Coats and husband, Robert, of Tiptonville; three great-grandchildren, Jeremy Jones and wife, Beverly, of Newbern, Lauren Luft-Easley of Tiptonville and Barbara Jane "B.J." Cutler of Dyersburg; and a great-great-grandchild, Jarred Michael Jones of Newbern.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Williamson; her parents, Affie "A.C." and Birdie Alexander Jarred; a sister, Justine "Teena" Jarred and; three brothers, Everett Jarred, Rayburn Jarred, Sr. and A.C. Jarred, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Robert Coats, Rayburn Jarred, Jr., Charles V. Jarred, Kent Brown, Mike Jarred and Jeremy Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Webb, Ray E. Moser and David Epperson.
