Virginia Dare Rogers, age 88, of Tiptonville, TN passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at Southgate Living Center in Caruthersville, MO.

Virginia was born in Lake City, AR on November 2, 1932 to the late William Andrew McKeel and Mary Ludie McDonald. She was a retired employee of the H.I.S. company in Tiptonville, TN. Virginia was a member at Crockett's Chapel United Methodist Church where she served at church secretary and treasurer. She was very involved in all the churches activities and a member of the United Methodist Women.

The family will receive visitors Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Crockett's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Crockett's Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Marita Burkeen. Internment will be in Crockett's Chapel Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her three sons, Glenn Rogers (Dorothy) and Brent Rogers both of Tiptonville, TN, and Todd Rogers (Peggy) of Canalou, MO; two brothers, Bill McKeel and Ronnie McKeel both of Kileen, TX; one sister, Joan Berry of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren, April York, Shelly Wright, Brian Bates, Cassidy Rogers, Chase Rogers, and Tara Rogers; and seven great-grandchildren, Mason Rogers, Elania Rogers, Bryce York, Bailey York, Millie Rogers, Kinslee Rogers, and Danny Evans.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordan Rogers; her daughter, Cindy Bates; and her brother, Richard McKeel.

Honoring Mrs. Virginia as pallbearers will be Cassidy Rogers, Chase Rogers, Donnie York, Brian Bates, Danny Evans, and Bryce York. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Cain, Rodney Wright, Dustin Simmons, and Mike Moore.
