Virginia Joyce Poe, 83, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Virginia was born on April 28, 1937, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Harold Seek and Rilla Penrod Tomlinson. She was a retired assembly line worker for Emerson Electric in Kennett, MO. Virginia was also a member of Miston Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Carmon Dennison officiating. Burial will be in Elder Cemetery in Campbell, MO.

The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Poe and wife, Cindy, of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Mary Rice of Gideon, MO; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Poe, Jr.; two sons, Ronald Poe and Clint Poe; and a granddaughter, Amber Poe.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Bibbs, Josh Poe, Brandon Poe, Terry Gregory, Doug Gregory and Avery Talbot.
