Virginia S. O'Malley's Obituary
Virginia S. O'Malley, 93, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
She was a retired Registered Nurse with Baptist Hospital in Memphis, a member of First United Methodist Church, a member of First United Methodist Church Salt and Pepper Group and was active in Union Mission Auxiliary.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fairview Cemetery with Dr. David Russell officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her four sisters, Doris Sanders of Newbern, Merion Parks of Trimble, Betty Lowery and Sandra Spence, both of Dyersburg; and two brothers, Dr. John Spence of Monroe, LA. and Collie M. Spence, Jr. of Smyrna, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur O'Malley; and her parents, Collie, Sr. and Nora Thompson Spence.
The family requests that memorials may be directed to Community Cancer Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
