Virgie Mae Boyd's Obituary
Virgie Mae Boyd, 81, of Ridgely, died Monday, July 18, 2011 at The Bridge at Ridgely.
She was a homemaker, member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church and a former employee of Rolane Mfg.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Independent Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Southerland officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Joyce Williams of Hornbeak and Shirley Dunn of Ridgely; four sons, Paul Boyd, Roy Boyd and Harold Boyd, all of Ridgely and Bobby Boyd of Hornbeak; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jess Junior Boyd; and her parents, Marshall and Mary Simmons.
Pallbearers will be Cody Williams, Jeremy Boyd, Will Boyd, Timmy Boyd, Troy Boyd and Junior Boyd.
