Vera Ozment, 76, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Baptist Hospital in Union City.

She was born on July 30, 1942, in Selmer, TN. Vera was a homemaker.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2019 in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. John Troutman officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 4:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the funeral home.

Survivors include her two daughters, Elizabeth Warren and husband, Johnny, and Peggy Cook and husband, Ted, all of Tiptonville; a son, Hollis Donald Ozment, Jr. and wife, Dorothy, of Mayfield, KY; a brother, Hubert Brigman and wife, Mary Ann, of Maury City; and two grandchildren, Amber Ann Warren and Megan Warren, both of Killeen, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Donald Ozment, Sr.; a daughter, Judy Ann Ozment; her mother, Christine Brigman; and two brothers, Leroy Brigman and Jay Morris Brigman.

Pallbearers will be John Lindamood, Michael Wiggins, Robbie Brigman, Sr., Robbie Brigman, Jr., Chris Brigman and Anthony Gifford.
