Mr. Ty Fisher, 69, of Bonicord, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital.

Ty was born on December 13, 1955 in Waterloo, Iowa to the late George & Betty Fisher. Throughout his life, he carried on a family tradition as a butcher, operating "George's Meat Market in Dyersburg and also as a deer processor for hunters in the community. He is remembered for his outgoing personality and devotion to his family. He loved to spend time with them, often hosting a gathering for no reason. He was a lover of the outdoors, music and cooking.

Ty is survived by his wife, Sue Fisher; his daughters, Wendy Fisher & husband, Trevor, and Michelle Smith & husband, Josh; and was greatly loved as "Papa" by his seven grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Drew & Kyle Ladd, Grant, Grayson & Lorna Smith and Weston Fisher. He was one of eight children, survived by his brothers, Ronnie Fisher, Rodney "Junior" Fisher and Eldon Fisher; and a sister, Edith Basir.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Phillip & Clyde Fisher; and his sister Bev Stewart.

Visitation will be held at Dyersburg Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 3:30 until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel conducted by Bro. Danny Griffin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Holland, Danny Cryts, Ryan Fisher, Jeff Ingram, Tim Holland, Drew & Kyle Ladd and Weston Fisher.
