Truman Raynor "Ray" Dunevant, 52, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at his residence.
He was known to many as "Uncle Ray Ray". Ray was a retired master carpenter.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Larry Fowlkes officiating. Inurnment will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his sister, Margaret Dunevant Baker and husband, Russell, of Dyersburg; several nieces and nephews, Daniel Parson, Kimberly Parson, Jeffery "Qball" Dunevant, April Dunevant, and Lori Sullivan, all of Dyersburg and Heather and Holly Dunevant of Joplin, MO; several great nieces and nephews, Jeremiah Parson, Leighanna Parson, Taleigha Parson, Brian Neal, and Brianna Reeves, all of Dyersburg and Candace Parson of Jackson; and a special dear friend that was just like his brother, Michael Paschal of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Leon Dunevant and Betty Lou Sinuard Dunevant; two brothers, James "Jimmy" Leon Dunevant and Robert "Bobby" Gene Dunevant; and a great-niece, Kaleigha Paige Scott.
