Travis "Bill" Daniels, 88, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Dyersburg Healthcare & Rehabilitation.

He was born on July 13, 1930, in Lenox, TN, to the late Carnish Daniels and the late Lela Newsom Daniels. Bill was retired from the Wastewater Treatment Department with the City of Dyersburg and previously worked for over 20 years at Oldberg Manufacturing. He was a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ. Bill served his country for 26 years in the Tennessee Army National Guard.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Rick Crawford and Mr. Novis Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Daniels of Dyersburg; two sons, Ricky Daniels (Pam) of Dyersburg and Billy Daniels (Julie) of Tiptonville; a daughter, Vicky Moore of Dyersburg; a sister, Dorothy Daniels Garner of Dyersburg; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Jackson, Brian Daniels, Sarah Jones, Ashley Moore, Dawn Carter, Kazety Wilson, Ginger Sandage and Jamison Daniels; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Janette Daniels; two brothers, Ed Daniels and Calvin Daniels; and a sister, Nancy Daniels.

Pallbearers will be Pete Riggs, Raymond McBride, Dale Woods, Page Hart, Jimmy Jones and Pete Pleasant. Honorary pallbearers will be Novis Fisher and Jerry Wayne Daniels.
