Tony Lynn VanHooser, 59, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at his residence.

Tony was born on January 23, 1962, in Jackson, TN, to Ronald VanHooser and the late Violet Howell VanHooser. He was a quality control employee for Nortek Global HVAC. Tony was a street preacher, who attended Gulf Shores Bible Institute and Pensacola Bible Institute. He was an avid Bible Scholar and was a Baptist by faith.

Tennessee funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Dr. Charlie Halliburton officiating. The family will receive visitors from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Kentucky graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Morse Cemetery in Farmersville, KY with Mr. Phil VanHooser officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Morgan Funeral Home, 301 W. Washington Street, Princeton, KY 42445.

Survivors include his father, Ron VanHooser of Dyersburg, TN; two uncles, Dennis Hibbs of Fulton, KY and Bobby Thomas of Farmersville, KY; two aunts, Julia Thomas of Princeton, KY and Joan Howell of Finley, TN; and several cousins.

In addition to his mother, Tony was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
