Tony Lee Neil, 47, of Dyersburg, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born on July 17, 1970 in Dyersburg, TN. He was a former employee at Tyson Foods in Newbern. Tony had graduated from Newbern Technical School with a welding certificate.

Services for Mr. Neil will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Neil Family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his two sons, Brandon Scott Neil of Denton, TX and Charles Cody Neil of Brownsville, TN; his mother, Mary Sue Carnell Neil of Dyersburg; a brother, David Neil of Jackson; four grandchildren, Hailey Marie Neil, Jordan Cody Neil, Alexis Brooke Neil and Aubree Lynn Neil, all of Dyersburg; and a niece, Ashley Brooke Neil of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Neil; and his grandparents, Dewey and Birdie Neil and Adam and Lucille Carnell, all from Tiptonville.

Pallbearers will be Jamie True, Scott Deal, Liberty Bryson, Brian Jones, Jerry Bell and Jamie Dean. Honorary pallbearers will be friends from E&J Midway.
