Tommy Gene Eddlemon, 75, of Tiptonville, died Friday, May 11, 2012 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
He was a retired farmer and employee for Lake County Highway Department, member of Tiptonville Church of Christ and an U.S. Army Veteran.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Jeff O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his two daughters, Gaye Lynn Eddlemon Burton and Madeline Eddlemon, both of Dyersburg; two sons, William Anthony Mobbs and Bradley Gene Eddlemon, both of Tiptonville; a sister, Mildred Armstrong of Ridgely; a brother, James Boyd Eddlemon of Ridgely; and three grandchildren, Jo Lynn Eddlemon, Sunny Rushing and Lynnley Burton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Inez Flowers Eddlemon; and a sister, Ailene Baker.
Pallbearers will be Billy "Speedy" Powell, Robert "Boo" Powell, John "Lil John" Wallace, Tommy "T-Bone" Davis, Danny "Hoss" Davis and Martin Buchanan. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin "Foo" Fullerton, Johnny Clyde "Rawhide" Thompson and Chuck Manz.
