Mr. James Thomas Burrow, of Dyersburg, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at his residence.  He was born in Dyer County to the late Earl Edward & Mildred Burrow.  He was a life-long public servant, both as a Dyer County Constable and later working for the Tennessee Department of Corrections.   He also spent 23 years serving in the Tennessee National Guard and U.S. Army during the Persian Gulf Conflict.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Burrow; his sons, Rusty Burrow & wife, Allison, and Randy Burrow; his step-son Don Killen & wife, Debbie; his granddaughter, Mary Kate Berry; and his great grandchildren, Kayden & Annie Kate.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tony Burrow.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday September 8, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, conducted by Bro. Jim Ennis.  Family & Friends will be honored to serve as pallbearers.
