Timothy "Timmy" Dewayne Haynes, Sr.

Timothy “Timmy” Dewayne Haynes, Sr., of Lenox, TN, passed away on September 2, 2026, in Corning at the age of 53. He was born on July 10, 1973, in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Timmy will be remembered as a man who found joy in the things he loved most. He loved to fish and ride motorcycles, and he was an avid baseball and basketball fan. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting and had a special love for all kinds of animals. Above all, Timmy loved his family and treasured spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. He attended North Side Church of Christ and rededicated his life in June of 2026, a meaningful step in his faith journey.

He is survived by his son, Timothy “T.J.” Haynes and his spouse, Catherine, of Fort Riley, Kansas; his daughters, Morgan Creasey and her spouse, Kaylee, of McCrory, Arkansas, and Courtney Hartsell and her spouse, Blaine, of McCrory, Arkansas. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Jeffrey Haynes, McKinlee Haynes and Weston Hartsell, who brought him great happiness.

Timmy is also survived by his brothers, Jeff Haynes and his spouse, Mistie, of Chandler, Oklahoma; Ernie Permenter and his spouse, Joyce, of Cabot, Arkansas; and Jason Roberts and his spouse, Lisa, of Missouri; his sister, Darla Greer of Bartlett, Tennessee; his three nephews, Josh Haynes, Brandon Permenter and Tucker Greer; a niece, Carlie Tivey; and his stepfather, Larry Roberts of Humboldt, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Roberts; his father, Tim Taylor; and a nephew, Jeffrey Haynes.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at Dyersburg Funeral Home, 420 US-51 ByPass W, Dyersburg, Tennessee. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, 820 Shelby Drive, Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Blaine Hartsell, Jimmy Poyner, Jeff Haynes, Aiden Haynes, Josh Haynes and Jonathan Beshears. Honorary pallbearers will be T.J. Haynes and Larry Roberts.

Timmy’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
