Mr. Timothy Leon Mathina, of Tiptonville, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in Newbern, TN.  He was born February 4, 1965 in Chicago, IL to the late Leon & Freda Mathina.   He enjoyed construction work and loved to fish.  He had a heart of gold and loved the many children that knew him.  He was always glad to lend a helping hand to others.  His family meant the world to him, especially his mother.

He is survived by his brothers, Jeff Mathina & wife, Vicki, of Union City, and Troy Mathina & wife, Angie, of Newbern, and his sister, Penny Wilson of Samburg.  He was deeply loved by his many cousins, nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Scotty Mathina.

Visitation will be held on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Wynnburg Baptist Church with funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Bro. Chip Davis.   Interment will follow at Graves Chapel Cemetery on Luther Davis Road.
