Timothy Hayes, 46, of Ridgely, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a sergeant with Northwest Correctional Complex and a Baptist.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Wynnburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Byassee officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 6-9 p.m. today at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Cheri Burney Hayes of Ridgely; a daughter, Johnnie Hayes of Union City; a stepson, Adam Burney of Tupelo, Miss.; his parents, Tom and Janice Hayes of Tiptonville; a brother, Nicky Hayes of Tiptonville; and a nephew, Nicky Hayes Jr. of Tiptonville.

Pallbearers will be Glen Bargery, Steve Jones, George Paris, Roger Gordon, Nicky Hayes Jr. and Roger Clayton.
