Mr. Timmy Ray "Tim" Nicholson, of Dyersburg, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021 at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital. Born April 13, 1957 in Rabun County GA to the late Elmer & Clifford Nicholson, Sr, Tim was a self-employed painter, handyman and tree-cutter. He enjoyed spending his time camping near Lake Rabun, riding horses and especially shooting pool with friends.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Stephenson Nicholson, his son Timmy Ray Nicholson, Jr, his daughters Ginger Ward, Kelly Nicholson & Makayla Nicholson, his brothers, Jerry, Oscar & Jesse Burton, his sisters, Jean Rainey & Nancy Gibson. He was well loved by his grandchildren as "Papa".

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Stephanie Nicholson, his brother Clifford Nicholson and sister Bernice Richey.

Cremation services are in care of Dyersburg Funeral Home and The Nicholson family will gather together at a later time to celebrate Tim's life.
