Timmie Gene Dean, a beloved husband, father, and family man, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, at his residence in Tiptonville, Tennessee. Born on April 3, 1961, in Lake County, Tennessee, Timmie lived a life rich in love, creativity, and devotion to his family and community.

Timmie was known for his remarkable craftiness and his passion for woodworking. He found great joy in making things with his hands, leaving behind a legacy of beautifully crafted projects inspired by his careful attention to detail and creative spirit. A lover of music, he cherished country and gospel melodies that often filled his home with warmth and comfort.

His relationship with his daughter was one of the greatest joys of his life. Together, they shared many happy moments target shooting, riding around town, and talking about cars—a subject about which Timmie was notably knowledgeable and enthusiastic. His love for playing cards, watching the news, and engaging in thoughtful discussions highlighted his curious and vibrant mind.

A devoted member of the Church of Christ by Faith, Timmie's faith was a cornerstone of his daily life, influencing his gentle demeanor and the strong bonds he formed with those around him. Above all, Timmie was deeply committed to his family, finding happiness in their company and making every effort to nurture those relationships.

Timmie is survived by his loving wife, Trease Dean of Tiptonville, TN, and his daughter, Janice Marie Dean of Tiptonville, TN, who was his pride and joy. He is also survived by two brothers, Jackie Dean of Dresden, TN, and Eddie Dean (Susie) of Tiptonville, TN, as well as a sister, Candace Elaine Dean of Tiptonville, TN. He was cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, especially D.J. Dean and Josh Flowers, who shared a special closeness with him.

He was preceded in death by his dear parents, Charles Edward Dean and Barbara Jean Mayfield Dean; four brothers, Stanley Dean, Ricky Dean, Gary Dean, and Jimmy Dean; and a sister, Jamie Dean.

A visitation to honor Timmie's memory will be held on May 14, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Tiptonville Chapel, located at 405 Church Street in Tiptonville, Tennessee. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Haynes Cemetery Road in Tiptonville at 5:00 p.m. with Mr. Tommy Dean officiating.

Timmie Gene Dean's passing leaves a heartfelt void in the lives of those who knew him, yet his legacy of kindness, craftsmanship, and love for family will endure. His memory will forever be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing this remarkable man. May he rest in peace.
