Thomas Lamont Whitney's Obituary
Mr. Thomas Lamont Whitney, age 63 of Dyersburg, Tn, passed away Monday at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born June 1, 1955 in Dyersburg, Tn. He was a truck driver with J.S.T.
Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Whitney will be 1 pm Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home conducted by Bro. Mac Daniels. Interment will be in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife Monnie Hammock Whitney, his children Kim Whitney Mullins (Tim), and Tommie Sue Childress (Jimmy) , his sons Kevan Daniels (Ginny) and J. P. Daniels, all of Dyersburg, Tn. He is also survived by his brother and sisters, Ralph Whitney, Dorothy Cooper, and Laura Burns, of Dyersburg, Tn. Marilyn Fortner of South Carolina, and fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Mr. Whitney was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Mary Catherine Pugh Crumley and his father Ralph Whitney. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Faye Newton, and Lanen Jurney and brother Jackie Crumley.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Canada, Danny Jo Ennis, Keith Kirby, Don Kirby, Jeremiah Ward, Adam Stover, Tad Holden, and Gary Rogers.
