Thomas L. Sain, Jr.'s Obituary
Thomas L. Sain, Jr., 64, of Dyersburg, died Monday, December 6, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a longtime employee of Homestead, taught at Dyersburg State Community College, sold custom tied Crappie Jigs all over the United States, avid Crappie Tournament Fisherman, winning many tournaments, graduated from Memphis State University, owned a lawn service company and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Hill Cemetery, 1661 So. Elvis Presley Blvd. in Memphis.
Survivors include a niece, Dinaa Coopwood of Lakeland; two nephews, Arthur Vernon Helms of Memphis and Robert Helms of Olive Branch, MS.; and his close friend, Fred A. Wortman, Jr. of Ridgely.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
