Thomas Louis Kee, 92, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.

He was born June 14, 1925, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Ira Kee and Viola Whitley Kee. Thomas worked for K.W. Rogers Grocery for 34 years retiring as Executive Vice President. He was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Thomas was a member of the Rotary Club, with perfect attendance for 20 years, serving as President in 1973. He volunteered as a Hospital Redcoat for eleven years. Thomas was an avid bowler and golfer, making his fourth hole in one at age 90. Mr. Kee served his Country during WWII in the United States Navy.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Hodges and Dr. Wayne Day officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Bobbie Hall Kee of Dyersburg; three daughters, Janet Horan (Jack) of Pennsylvania, Lyla Odom of Dyersburg and Jo Kee of Memphis; a sister, Frances Hodges of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Laura Rhodenbaugh (Gary) and Claire Hartfield (Matt); four great-grandchildren, Bryce Thomas Rhodenbaugh, Chloe Rhodenbaugh, James Hartfield and Audrey Jo Hartfield; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond Kee and William Newbill; and his step-mother, Luoma Kee.

Pallbearers will be Roy Childress, Matt Hartfield, Jack Horan, Billy Greer, Guy Hansford and Toby Horner. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons and the Sunday School Class of Hillcrest Baptist Church and his golfing friends.

Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
